"Black Myth: Wukong" Trailer is Here and It Looks Sick | The Trailer Reveals a Lot New to Know About
"Black Myth: Wukong", the Chinese indie action-RPG that gained huge attention upon announcement last year is back with its trailer. The trailer reveals maps, characters, weapons, and so much more.
The trailer is released on the Chinese new year of the Ox. The developer studio of the game "Game Science" showed the trailer containing some new gameplay, action scenes, and new characters along with some new areas. The game seems to be somewhat based on the popular Chinese folktales and characters.
As can be seen from the trailer, the story is set in a desert-like world with dried up plants and somewhat destroyed temples and monuments. The trailer also shows the fast-paced action that we are going to have in the game. We can see enemies such as half-wolf half-human creatures, giant rats wielding weapons, and some big gigantic boss creatures which include two-headed creatures and enemies having natural fire powers.
The trailer also shows the player character changing its avatar to a rock-like creature and converting itself into three creatures capable of lightning and ariel attacks. It shows some of the combats where the player character uses combo attacks to defeat the big enemy creatures. Even though a caption from the officials says "This video is specially produced for celebrating the Year of the Ox, it does not represent actual plot.", still it's impossible to believe these scenes don't belong to the actual gameplay and only for the trailer.
The game got an insane amount of popularity when its first gameplay video was released last year. The game is set to be released in 2023 for PlayStation 4, Xbox, and PCs. Till then let's keep waiting for further updates on "Black Myth: Wukong".
