The next Battlefield game going to be returning back to its modern warfare settings is set to be teased this spring and will be releasing at the end of this year.
On Battlefield 6, EA CEO Andrew Wilson said, "We will reveal the game in the spring and deliver the defining Battlefield experience for our players in the 2021 holiday season." Battlefield 6 will take full advantage of the next-gen gaming hardware. Andrew also talked about it, "takes full advantage of the power of next-generation platforms to bring massive and immersive battles to life with more players than ever."
On maps, modes and details the CEO said, "Featuring maps with unprecedented scale, the next vision of Battlefield takes all the destruction, player agency, and vehicle and weapon combat that the franchise is known for and elevates it to another level. The team is focused, and the game is ahead of our internal milestones."
Battlefield V was the last game from the Battlefield franchise which was a mess and not what the fans wanted. However, Battlefield 6 will be returning back to its modern-day all-out military warfare settings.
